Overview
This guide explains how to configure printer settings for a DYMO printer within the BASSnet system.
Goal
To correctly set up and save printer settings so that they do not need to be reconfigured each time you print.
Steps
- On the Report Designer screen, click Print QR Label.
- Then open the Page Setup.
- Configure the following settings on the Page Setup screen:
a. Orientation: Landscape.
b. Width: 100 mm and
c. Height: 54 mm.
This is crucial as it ensures the printer prints in landscape and adjusts the dimensions properly.
- Next, click Scale.
- You can either adjust the percentage to the normal size or set it to Fit to 1 page wide.
(We recommend 95% of the normal size, but you may adjust as needed).
- Then, proceed to click Print.
- In the Print menu, click Preferences.
- Ensure that the orientation is set to Landscape, then click Advanced.
- Confirm that the correct paper size is selected.
Note: if you don’t see 89mm x 36mm, you can try searching by its product code. (e.g., S0722400 or 99012 Large Address).
- After these adjustments, click Print and review the results.
